Uphold February Update; Action Required from Certain Users

We have a new update from Uphold regarding user-owned Uphold accounts.
UK and EU Support Resumes
Uphold has received approval in the UK and has opened up account creation and withdrawals for accounts in this region.
Uphold has also been working to restore functionality for new EU accounts and hopes to have this resolved soon. Uphold has informed us that they will continue to work towards providing support for new EU users with the ability to use the withdrawal feature for USD payouts.
New Restrictions/Action Required by Some Users
Uphold is applying new restrictions to users from the following countries:
- Albania (AL)
- Azerbaijan (AZ)
- Bosnia and Herzegovina (BA)
- Bulgaria (BG)
- Croatia (HR)
- Georgia (GE)
- Kosovo (XK)
- Moldova (MD)
- Montenegro (ME)
- North Macedonia (MK)
- Romania (RO)
- Serbia (RS)
- Slovenia (SI)
These new restrictions include the disabling of new signups for these regions, as well as blocking users from the United States (including all Mythical Accounts) from sending or receiving funds to, or from, a user in any of the listed countries.
Additionally, Uphold will be closing all Russian and Ukrainian accounts and asks that all users from these countries remove any and all funds from their Uphold accounts as soon as possible. If you experience any issues with withdrawals, please reach out to the Uphold Customer Services team.
We have no indication as to how long this restriction will last, but in the meantime, any funds that you may currently have in your Mythical balance will remain safe. You will still be able to use your Mythical balance to purchase items on the Mythical Marketplace should you wish to do so, but we do not currently offer any other methods of payout.
We apologize for the inconvenience from this issue, and although it is beyond our control, we will continue to work with Uphold to resolve it.
