Update: Two-Factor Authentication

We will be changing some security and account features as of May 10th, starting at 10 AM PDT / 17:00 UTC. With these new changes, we are implementing a required two-factor authentication process for all accounts. This is the first step into setting up a proper unification of accounts under Mythical Games!
Downtime
During this update, we will be implementing downtime from 10 AM PDT / 17:00 UTC to 2 PM PDT / 21:00 UTC. During this time you will be unable to access the game or the Marketplace. Once downtime has concluded, please be sure to restart your launchers to give your launchers the opportunity to update to the latest version. If you do not restart your launcher, you will be unable to access the game.
Why are you making this change?
We’re implementing this change because we’ve heard your feedback that the creation of an account is currently a bit of a process. Instead of continuing to have two separate accounts, one for Blankos Block Party and one for the Mythical Marketplace, we want to simplify the process for you and allow you to have an umbrella Mythical account.
What is the Mythical Account?
The Mythical Account will be a unified Blankos Block Party and Mythical Marketplace account. This account will also be used for any future projects and games Mythical Games has in the pipeline!
What should you expect?
Expect a new registration page where new players will be asked to create a single account. This new flow will allow players to create one account for all Mythical features, like games and Marketplace, with a single point for two-factor authentication.
Will I have to set up two factor-authentication?
No! We will be setting up your two factor-authentication for you via email. Your new two factor-authentication will be done by the email you had previously validated.
How does this affect current players who play Blankos Block Party and participate in the Mythical Marketplace?
We will be migrating all accounts to email two-factor authentication. Even if you have two-factor authentication on an application, your accounts will simply be unified. This will lead to the Blankos Block Party account and Mythical Marketplace account being one entity.
How does this affect players who only play Blankos Block Party?
For our players who only play Blankos Block Party, your accounts will automatically have two-factor authentication set up via your email! Once this has been setup, you will be able to utilize your account as you did previous to two-factor authentication.Your Blankos Block Party account will become a Mythical Games account that will give you access to the Mythical Marketplace.
How does this affect users who only participate in the Mythical Marketplace?
For our users who only participate in the Mythical Marketplace, your two-factor authentication will be changed to be email two-factor authentication. You will no longer need to authenticate via the authenticator application and you will also have access to all other Mythical Games titles with this unified account.
How does this affect new players?
This will streamline the account creation process for new players, who will only have to create one account for all their Mythical related things, like our games and the Mythical Marketplace. A new player who sets up a new account will also not be required to set up their two factor-authentication. This will be done automatically through the account creation process, using the email address provided for the new account.
