Reflect on a Great Year of Football During Rivals Rewind

As we prepare ourselves for an awesome Kickoff later this year, the team here at NFL Rivals thought it’d be a great time to reminisce on some of the biggest week-to-week moments last season with our new program: Rivals Rewind.

For each week of the 2022 season, we want to highlight some of the best performances with Player Cards that focus on those key weekly performances. The Rivals Rewind program kicks off on June 13th and the new player cards will be made available via in-app packs for sale and as prizes for events and challenges.

During Rivals Rewind, there will always be a standard pack up for sale during the entire length of the program and also always at least one special offer pack available during the program, with the offer changing each week.

Who’s Who in the Rewind

We want the program to celebrate the past season on a week-by-week basis, so every card in this program will be labeled with the number of the week when these players put on their stellar performances.

Here’s how we’re determining the rarity on these cards:

• Rare player cards will feature players who posted some outstanding big plays that really stood out for them in the season
• Epic player cards will represent players who had a more consistently strong season and we’re highlighting their best game with the week number
• Legendary player cards will depict players that were not only top performers for the year, but had standout monster games on the specified week

The Rivals Rewind chase player cards will be connected to the very best players of the previous season, such as rookies of the year and the performance stat leaders.

Rivals Every Day

We’re rolling out daily challenges during the Rivals Rewind program, so you’ll have yet another litany of reasons to play Rivals each and every day.

A New Kind of Card?

Who doesn’t love pretty things? Rivals, we’re introducing a new kind of card outside of the normal rarity scale that is itself quite rare. We can’t share more details about how to get it or how it works, but we think you’ll love it and we’ll share details later in the program.
