The Combine’s A-Coming to NFL Rivals

Rivals, we’re on the other side of Super Bowl LVIII and already getting hyped for another amazing season of football. A new crop of football talent is getting ready to show off their moves for team scouts and we’re getting ready to celebrate with a hot new program in NFL Rivals.
The new program will kick off on February 29 and run for 8 weeks until April 25, when we’ll be commemorating our launch anniversary. To keep things interesting, we’ll be running out new themes every two weeks, focused on each of the four main challenges in the Combine and featuring new batches of players.
We’re All About the Challenges
The Combine program will feature 2 4-week Power Passes: Flash & Dash, which will cover the 40-yard dash and the shuttle run, and Height & Might, which will cover the vertical and the bench challenges. Each of the passes will offer on-theme players based on the corresponding challenges.
Combine will also feature 2 program currencies: Zoom tokens for the first half, followed up with Boom tokens for the back half. For the first half, you can collect Zoom tokens in weekly events as per usual. Lightning Lanes events will drop on Tuesdays, with Speed Surge events rolling out on Thursdays.
Every two weeks, we’ll shuffle up the events, program store offerings, and players in the packs. Here’s the timeline for each of the challenge periods:
- Shuttle: 2/29 through 3/13
- 40 Yard Dash: 3/14 through 3/27
- Vertical: 3/28 through 4/10
- Bench: 4/11 through 4/24
