Halloween is almost here, and this year’s program is packed with thrills, chills, and a legendary surprise that will make you scream (with excitement, of course).
Halloween Gets a Legendary Twist
This Halloween marks a first for NFL Rivals. Not only is it our first holiday-themed program since Cold Snap, but we’re also introducing our very first retired NFL legend as a headliner—none other than the unstoppable Adrian Peterson! That’s right, AP is making his debut in Monster Smash 2, and he’s ready to haunt the field with a series of monstrous performances.
Trick-or-Treat for Epic Rewards
Halloween isn’t just about candy—it’s about racking up in-game treats, too! Throughout Monster Smash 2, you can earn ‘Candy’ by participating in events, and use it to unlock special Halloween players. Adrian Peterson will have multiple versions to collect, from a free base edition to his powerful Mythical and Legendary editions available in the promo store. You’ll also get a chance to relive some of AP’s most legendary moments through our themed ‘Challenges.’
Program Highlights
Get ready for a spine-tingling boost! On Halloween players will undergo a temporary transformation, receiving a Beast Morph with a 10-point stat increase across all stats. And the fun doesn’t end there—the morph will also activate on any Friday the 13th or Full Moon for the next year. (previous season morphs stop) Don’t miss out on the ultimate morph on Halloween!
Epic Players and Past Performances
Our Halloween players are inspired by some of the most “monstrous” performances from past Octobers. With 8 Legendary, 8 Epic, and up to 10 Rare players, the field will be full of stars who have made October their personal highlight reel. Plus, seven “chase” players will be featured in weekend events and the promo store—rare opportunities to unlock some real beasts.

Haunt the Field with New Challenges
What’s Halloween without a few challenges? In this program, we’ve designed a set of single-player Quick Play challenges that let you relive—or rewrite—Adrian Peterson’s biggest career moments. Lead him to victory in nail-biting scenarios, like his record-setting 296-yard game, or rewrite history in key playoff moments. Complete all the challenges to earn Adrian Peterson’s Rare edition and upgrade your lineup for the Beast Events.
Spooky Events & Rewards
This year’s events are packed with Halloween-themed excitement. From currency-collecting events during the week to the intense Main Events on weekends, there’s always something happening. As always, Main Events are highly competitive, and this time they feature the best players of the Halloween program—including a Mythical final event where Adrian Peterson’s edition in your lineup will give you an extra edge.
