Gridiron Standouts Are Back on NFL Rivals

With the regular NFL season rolling out this weekend, we’re excited to bring back an old favorite from last season: Gridiron Standouts!
Just like last year, we’ll be handpicking a group of players with great gametime performances on the field over the previous week and drop cards for them for one week only, after which they’ll get replaced by the next week’s batch of Gridiron Standouts.
The first round goes live on September 10 and will run through the remainder of the regular season.
Similar to the Living Legends program, there will be 6 cards dropping each week: 2 Rares, 2 Epics, and 2 Legendaries, with the stronger Legendary available only via a 3-day Gridron Standouts event running Wednesdays through Fridays, with 4 games on Wednesdays and 3 games to play on Thursdays and Fridays.
We’ll also run a Gridiron Standouts crafting recipe, in which you’ll be able to turn 8 Rare or better cards into a pack containing an Epic or better card from the week’s collection.
Remember: once the 7-day period for a GS collection runs out, those cards will no longer be minted and the quantity can only decrease!
